Nutt Sumoll

D.O. Penedès

Our first red wine made from Sumoll, and ancient catalan variety that we are recovering there are just a few hectares in Catalonia.

View: Shinny pomegranate red with an purple rim.

Smell: Red fruit of the forest aromas with notes of licorice.

Taste: Entrance friendly and light. We find again the strawberries and the respberries with a refreshing touch that give us a good aftertaste.

Storage temperature: About 18ºC, without humidity or sudden temperatures changes, and without direct light, in horizontal.

Serving temperature: 12º C.

How to serve: In glass with a body type burgundy. 

Food pairing: Recommended for light meals such as bread with tomato and sausage, tuna, carpaccio and tapas.

Nutt grenache

D.O. Montsant

Grenache and Syrah born on the mountain slopes of Montsant. Altitude, low rainfall and surrounded by a Mediterranean forest: the perfect ambassadors to proclaim their typicity.

View: Shinny cherry red with an intense purple rim.

Smell: Highlights red rip fruit aromas, and very deep balsamic notes of Mediterranean forest.

Taste: Rich red fruits give a sweet tooth entry onto the palate with ripe and elegant tannins, deeply balsamic with liquorices, resin and understory flavors. Finishes long and fresh. A fruit-driven wine with the fullness of flavor and elegance.

Storage temperature: About 18ºC, without humidity or sudden temperatures changes, and without direct light, in horizontal. 

Serving temperature: Between 6º and 8º C.

How to serve: In glass with a body type burgundy. 

Food pairing: Recommended for duck, red meats, sausages and tapas.

Nutt rosé

 

D.O. Penedès

The first rosé wine from Mas Bertran, 100% sumoll, an autochthonous Catalan grape variety, almost extinguished, that we are recovering it. Pale rosé color is obtained through a short maceration of the juice with the skins.

View: Pale pink and bright.

Smell: Citrus, orange peel, tangerine, red fuit and floral.

Taste: On the palate fresh, silky, friendly. From persistent tasting and memories of strawberry.

Storage temperature: About 18ºC, without humidity or sudden temperatures changes, and without direct light, in horizontal. 

Serving temperature: Between 6º and 8º C.

How to serve: In a glass with a burgundy body shape.

Food pairing: Recommended for rice, pasta, cheese, apetizers, pizza and fish and while you are cooking.
